What happened to Tahoe Beach Retreat
Tahoe Beach Retreat, our longtime neighbor on South Lake Tahoe's quiet south shore, is no longer operating. If you're visiting this page, you probably have a trip planned, a family tradition you want to continue, or a memory tied to that stretch of shoreline.
The good news: the lake hasn't moved. The same pine-lined beach, the same Sierra views across the water, the same easy walk to Stateline and Heavenly — all of it is still here. And so are we, right next door, ready to welcome you.

No. Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge & Spa is an independent, separately owned lakefront hotel and condo property. We are simply the closest equivalent in location, beach access, and amenities — located immediately next door.
Can you honor a gift certificate or reservation from Tahoe Beach Retreat?
We can't redeem certificates from another property, but if you held a future reservation or gift certificate with Tahoe Beach Retreat, call us and mention it. We've set up a goodwill rate for former guests and we'll do our best to get you back on the lake.
